Naa Okailey Shooter, Miss World 2013 2nd Runner-Up gets a full welcome back home in Ghana

The reigning Miss World Africa, and 2nd Runner Up at this year’s Miss Worldevent, Naa Okailey Shooter, has arrived in the country. She touched down at the Kotoka International Airport, 8pm, Monday September 30, to a hugereception at the VIP lounge. She was met on arrival by the Minister of Tourism, Culture

Lagos plane crash: Agagu's body found

The casket, bearing the corpse of the Ondo State former governor, Dr. Olusegun Agagu, has been recovered by rescue agencies at the site of the Associated Airlines plane, which crashed in Lagos on Thursday morning.

NMA 2nd list; Funke Akindele, OC Ukeje, Imeh Bishop Udoh, Gabriel Afolayan lead nominees for Nollywood Movie Awards

The organisers of the Nollywood Movie Awards (NMA) have released the list of nominees for the second edition of the awards ceremony.

Leading the nominees this year are O.C Ukeje, Gabriel Afolayan, Funke Akindele, and Imeh Bishop Udoh who all clinched two nominations each for their movie roles.

The event will hold on Saturday October 12, 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Akure bound chattered association airline conveying the corpse, family and friends of the family of Ex Governor Agagu crashed early this morning at Faan mafoluku, near the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, shortly after take off this morning. The plane was enroute Akure from Lagos where the late politician was to be buried tomorrow. Obasanjo's son, Gbenja and some other popular names including Falaye's son, Olu and the owner of MIC casket, Mr. Okusanya was among the passengers and they have all been confirmed dead .
