Nigerian celebrities have continued to vent their anger on those representing them at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly for voting against section 29 (a) of the proposed constitutional amendment, which states that a Nigerian girl-child can only go into marriage legally when she is at least 18 years of age.
It was popular thespian and acclaimed ‘Nollywood sexiest, Omotola
Jalade who first voiced her position against the act at the just
concluded Most Beautiful Girl in Nigerian beauty pageant in the oil rich
city of Bayelsa.
Apparently angered by the ongoing development, Tonto on her Facebook post this morning addressed members of the National Assembly as idiots and mumus.
“It scares and totally shocks me that the Senate in Nigeria (the most
populous black nation in the world and giant of Africa) would not be
passing in a law ensuring that every child should compulsorily be
enrolled in school.” Omotola said.
Joining the league of other angry celebrities currently condemning
the cruel and wicked assertion of the Senators is Nollywood Queen of
